District Governor's Club Excellence Award 2010-2011

Following are the requirements to earn the Club Excellence Award.
Qualifying Award dates are July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011. Forms are to be submitted by July 15, 2011

1. All new members are inducted properly and involved in service activities and/or commitee work.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
2. All Monthly Membership Reports are submitted to District Governor and Lions Club International,
either electronically or postmarked, by the 5th of each following month.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
3. All Club Activity Reports are submitted to District Governor, Vice District Governor and Zone Chair,
either electronically or postmarked, by the 5th of each following month.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
4. 2008-2009 PU-101, Club Officer's Reporting Form, submitted to LIons Clubs International and
District Governor, either electronically or postmarked, by May 15, 2011.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
5. All Lions Clubs International and District dues paid by September 15, 2010 (first half) and
March 1, 2011 (second half).
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
6. Positive membership growth for 2010-2011 (numbers taken from June 2010 and June 2011
MMR) or Retain June 2010 membership (deaths or transfers not counted) as of June 30, 2011.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
7. Club has conducted at least one major service project for the year.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

8. Donations made to at least two of the following:
Kansas Lions Band Foundation, Kansas Lions Foundation, Kansas Lions Sight Foundation, KSDS

9. Donation made to Lions Clubs International Foundation.

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
10. Publish article in local newspaper about Lions Club activity.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
11. Submit article for District Governor’s Newsletter or Kansas Lions News or “The Lion” magazine.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Additional requirements--need to fulfill at least FIVE of the following:
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Sponsor a new or existing Leo Club
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Charter a new Lions Club or Branch Club
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Sponsor a Peace Poster Contest or Leo to 2009 International Convention or band student to Kansas
Lions State Band or foreign exchange student.

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
At least one member attend Club Officer Training in 2009-2010. (pres./v.pres./sec./treas.)
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
At least one member attend the Fall Lions Leadership Forum
(excluding presenters and moderators).
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
At least one member attend each zone meeting held in your zone
(does not have to be same member - zone chair excluded).
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
At least one member attend a District Cabinet Meeting (Cabinet & Committee Chairs do not count).
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
At least one member attend 17-I District Convention in March, 2011
(Cabinet & Committee Chairs do not count).

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Host a Zone or District Cabinet Meeting/Convention.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
At least one member attend 2010 USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum or
2009 or 2010 International Convention.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
At least one member attend 2009 Mid-Winter Rally or 2011 State Convention.

|
|
|
Submit club event for promotion on District website.
|
|
|
|
|

|
|

Submit Club History form for current and all previous years, if needed

Sponsor Lions Screening Bus in your community.

Donate eyeglasses or hearing aids to needy person in your community.
